At the risk of being repetitive I'm copying the cold drinks links I posted from the old mb. Saves always hunting for them for measurements. I'm debating going for a nimbu soda ...
.
Iced tea is always good, KC2. I like orange pekoe and I like mine without any sugar at all, poured over ice with a nice wedge of lemon. OH likes it sweet.
My go to summer cold drink is a tall glass of ice, lime wedges, squeezed, topped up with sparkling water.
This is one I saw on Serious Eats a couple of years ago (before it got bought out and ruined IMO). Been meaning to try it but never have any black salt. https://www.seriouseats.com/nimbu-soda
Blitzted Lassi is really good, too. Measure ice to fill a tall glass, dump into a blender, add some plain yogurt (about 150 - 200ml give or take) and a good pinch of salt. Blend and pour back into the glass with a sprinkle of ground cumin.
Pleased to see Lassi mentioned. My hosts on Sunday (one of whom was of Indian origin) served the most delicious diluted iced cordials (raspberry with real berries floating in it) and lime with mint. They also offered two types of Lassi made in a similar way to Zero's recipe. The one I had was rosewater and cardamom and was one of the most delicious drinks I've had in a long time. The other included turmeric but I can't remember what else. Not cumin.
we are drinking 'cold brew' coffee over ice, at the moment.
make (real) coffee in a jug or jar with cold water, leave for a couple of hours or overnight, filter out the grounds and pour over ice.
no bitter fraction, it has the smooth, round taste of tia maria without the sugar or alcohol content. i am a convert.

Yes, found Scully's post, well, I think we'll have to make it ourselves now!
I'm thinking of making it with ground decaff and having it as dessert over vanilla icecream after lunch. I've kind of given up anything caffeiney after mid-day and used to be very partial to cold coffee over ice cream but never got round to bothering to get decaff beans and so just stopped having it in the afternoon.
