Not according to The Guardian EM.

As an aside did anyone else notice that at times her speech was slightly mangled? A friend had alerted me to her appearance on The One Show a week or so ago wondering if she was a bit p****d. I’m not sure it was that but her enunciation was a bit odd at times, especially near the beginning. Probably just me gone looking.

Yes - I noticed that too. It was an excellent program though.

I caught the very end and thought exactly that. Definitely something not quite right. Will watch the rest when I can, the subject matter sounded interesting.

I’ve just watched Nigella - I wouldn’t say her speech was slurred at all, more the sort of slowly staccato delivery some people have after a TIA or various other things, which might also explain the coordination issues. She seemed to have a little trouble finding her mouth with her fingers.

I need to go to Amsterdam again - I have both friends and family there. As long as there are no speculaas involved, not keen.

Something like that - was she walking with a stick at one point? She has lost weight too.

I briefly thought she'd had one or two "Amsterdamages", as she called them, but quickly dismissed the thought - the program would not have been made or shown, if that were the case. Yes, I'm sure I 've seen her with a sitck, and I too thought she'd lost a fair bit of weight. I didn't feel her speech was slurred - more a careful attempt to choose the right word and to enunciate it correctly. A bit worrying.

I've just watched the first Roux programme. Thanks so much for highlighting it, PP. I thought it was lovely and the food was wonderful - it's made me want to cook!

I think I had the oxtail & kidney pud when we (BBC boarders) went to the Hinds Head at Bray a good few years ago now.

Loving the smoked duck burgers on this week’s Michel Roux. Not seen Tunworth used like that before. https://foodnetwork.co.uk/recipes/miche ... -mushrooms
