We had lunch here today.

J had rabbit stifado, a stew with potato and lots of onions, flavoured with black peppercorns and a couple of cloves.
I had oven baked fish.
The closest description I can do is that it's a layered dish.
The base is rather like a potato boulangere, with chopped celery and onion. I think there was a splash of vinegar too.
On top of that was a layer of spinach, then a fish fillet and topped with carrot puree.
Not sure what the fish was, maybe plaice.
Both dishes were fabulous, and very generous portions.
We finished with Cypriot coffee and a (complimentary) piece of coconut cake.
The coffee was super strong and the cake was very sweet so they needed each other, if you see what I mean.
