Re: What are you eating today?
Lunch is best not mentioned but I will anyway - chips drizzled with nacho cheese sauce and Guinness barbecue sauce in a pub.
Dinner: cheese: Tomme des Pyrénées, Cantal, Emmental - all bought in France the other weekend - and some Stilton.
I should probably eat some fruit or veg...

One of our favourite quick dinners
Linguine with smoked salmon, spring onions, black pepper, garlic and a splash of cream.

Re: What are you eating today?
We've had a light dinner tonight, salmon steak with baby potatoes and salad.
Lovely, made a nice change from the meat overload.

We’re still feasting on cold gammon and chicken with salad.

Re: What are you eating today?
Went out for lunch and had a creamy truffley ricotta tortelloni. Ate Christmas cake at home. Not homemade though. Still not iced it.
Dinner was cheese and biscuits.

Baked jacket potatoes, cold gammon and a heap of homemade coleslaw … followed by the last of the chocolate mousse
Re: What are you eating today?
Venison burgers on a brioche bun with a slice of red onion and ploughman’s chutney. Along with oven chips and a salad of mixed leaves, avocado, cherry tomatoes, celery and spring onion.

Cheese on toast with vegetarian salami for lunch today. Might not seem worth mentioning but I rarely make it (I hate using the grill) so it was a treat. The cheese was a bit too mature and thus dry, alas, but still nice.

Creamy chicken leek and tarragon pie, with baby potatoes and green beans.

Re: What are you eating today?
I seem to be in post Xmas cheese using up mode.
Monday, leek and blue cheese risotto made with St Agur which worked well
Last night a lot of bits, was a bit greedy
Tonight also Tartiflette made with Reblochon using Rachel Khoo’s Tartiflette nests method, which I find works better for a single portion but it was a bit overdone, think my oven is too fierce, I used the main oven as I was baking bread after.

Re: What are you eating today?
Hmmm I have a surfeit of leeks and some St Agur. Your risotto may be in for a reappearance before long Sue ( if that’s not an odd way of phrasing it)

Re: What are you eating today?
It was Kacey’s dinner that I copied originally, did it first with Gorgonzola picante which was ok but St Agur being mor “blue” worked better.
