Yes, we like them too, just because they’re a bit different. I don’t remember seeing them recently though. I have a vague feeling the last ones I saw were purple??

I have seen kalettes in the supermarket but never had them in my veg box. Sound interesting.

Tonight was cod and chorizo fish cakes with a massive traybake of vegetables resembling ratatouille. OH had the remains of the truffle mash with his.

I’ve had Kaletters a few times haven’t seen any for ages. Quite like them but one lot had tough central stems, as psb sometimes does.

As out just had some 4 cheese tortellini cooked with some broccoli and finished with a tiny dab of pesto.

Haven't tried the Kalettes yet.

Tonight was an old favourite Ursula Ferrigno recipe. Chickpeas, cherry tomatoes gently sautéd in EVO with lots of garlic and several handfuls of chopped parsley and served with pasta. Quick to make, and delicious too.

I made this last night and had it as suggested - with fish. Loads of leftovers which we had with Parmesan and lots of black pepper. Delicious.

I am having chipotle-y and herby puy lentils (leftovers from Monday) with barrel aged feta for lunch. Very tasty. I want to make a potato and leek cheese gratin/bake but not sure if I will managed it today. Will see...

I put two recipes together for lunch - I added cooked potatoes to an omelette masala and cooked it like a Spanish tortilla, topping with halved cherry tomatoes and finishing under the grill. Definitely one to repeat.

No real idea about tonight, might be fish.

A(n?) M&S traybake recipe for Thai green salmon. Easy, healthy, and tasty. Perfect. And no heavy carbs.

Where do catch green salmon ;) ?

Sounds good. I was thinking of getting some Thai curry paste again, I like Mae Ploy but a 400g tub is lifetime supply

Left over potato and leek gratin for lunch. A bit indulgent for a lunch - it has a lot of cheese in it - cheddar and gruyere - and creme fraiche which needed eating. It had a curiously grainy texture but within date and tasted fine. I also put faux smokey bacon in it, peas, smoked garlic granules, thyme. It is really rather nice.

:D :D
It might not be the best but as there’s just two of us, we use the tiny pots of Thai green curry paste. Or red curry. Or pesto. One pot to half a can of coconut milk serves two - it saves a lot of waste.

We looked for haggis bonbons but couldn’t find any, not even any meat haggis! Although M&S did have a veggie one. Instead we had a quick and easy box of Chinese. It may be ultra processed, but it was quick and easy, and just what we needed. :D
