I started drawing them for sick relatives as get-well cards. Hamsters, mice, amphibians ... the hamsters endured and were also used for birthday cards and any other occasion. They exist solely to make people happy.

What with this winter's uncertainties in financial and other areas I'd feel loath to suggest anything, for not everyone will be able to spare anything and I would not like them to feel that they should.

Just enjoy them with a good conscience. Some things in life really are free and good cheer is one of them.
