Large dinner plate sized Ikea crispbreads ...

Post by KeenCook »

Our local Ikea had some of these in stock the other day - I really wanted the normal sized ones but they haven't had those for months - so I bought the large ones.

Thus far I have been breaking them up and keeping them in our cheese cracker tin.

Does anyone have anything interesting that they do with them?

Do you use them as a "party piece" for instance?

Cheers :thumbsup

I used to buy them years ago but I'm sure they were marked to be broken into wedges then
These clearly aren't

There are recipes on the maker's (Leksands) website but interestingly they show the cris[bread spearated into the pie wedge shapes I remember

Yes! All the pics of what you can do with them are no good for the crispbread without any wedge markings :thumbsdown

I guess I'll just carry on breaking them up roughly! I might be able to quarter them ...

They don't really suit British table manners do they! I see pictures of 'pizzas' on a thread above but you'd still need to cut or break it elegantly!
