pumpkin question

Post by herbidacious »

Has anyone encountered this before?

Ok to eat? The flesh is firm.

It looked like a chestnut squash. (Small and reddish orange.)

If the seeds are developed, than it's ripe just hasn't coloured up evenly, not an expert at all but I'd eat it

It doesn't look like mould so I agree, just not ripened evenly. Don't know if it would affect the taste (ie. bitterness etc). I'd taste before mixing it with other ingredients.
