(Sorry, we’ve been away for a few days and I’m very tired, but can give you the proportions tmrw if you want them. One is a JO soda bread recipe.)

Re: Who was buying a mattress?

We slept on an Emma mattress for the first time last week. We were both disappointed. The worst problem was being disturbed by the other turning over in bed. But so saying, the pub with rooms was so nice, we’ll be giving it another chance.

Re: Foodies In The News

I don’t like electric potato blenders, I like my potatoes mashed (possibly with lumps ;) ), not puréed.

Interesting linked article about the dinner party gifts….I think I prefer the generic wine/flowers/chocolates.

Re: What are you eating today?

I knew you’re veggie Herbi, but I wonder if you could adapt this roasted cauli recipe…we love it. I think we serve it with the spinach stirred through the rice.

Re: What are you eating today?

Typical Valentines for us…two different steaks (mine gets put on the griddle after his has finished cooking!) with chips, fried tomatoes, and fast fried mushrooms. And a gifted Christmas Prosecco with salted caramels. And the rugby   :( :x

Re: What are you eating today?

After not very much sleep, and a long day, we had a(n?) M&S gastropub moussaka. It was surprisingly nice.
I might fish the label out of the cardboard recycling to see if they’re freezable. I can’t see why not.
