Re: Foodies In The News
The latest revelations by his ghost writer detail vile (and potentially illegal, had she objected) behaviour… but she stayed … she went back …she continued to work with him! And said nothing for twelve years! She was an adult, she had choices and she chose to be treated like dirt for money. She didn...

And … ??? Are we really still in a world where we assume anything written by a woman has been dictated by a man ??? I'm unclear about you point. I assumed bias was being indicated by PP. … . You’ve made my point for me! … the assumption that a woman holds the same views as her husband! How ...

I bought some batteries yesterday … there they were, the package emblazoned with a pink Duracell bunny … that’s a sexualised joke isn’t it? But does anyone take offence … do they heck …. lots of mixed messages out there.

Re: Lamb Slices
I love breast of lamb … I usually bone it out and roll and stuff it with a herby stuffing then slow roast to render out fat and whack the heat up at the end to crisp it up. A delicious and cheap Sunday roast. I have also done things like this with it … tasty too but not as tender https://www.omemade...

I’m not the one being unfair … the women who are being unfair are the ones who have status within the industry and don’t raise an unholy stink about inappropte bullying behaviour when they have the chance rather than ‘me too-ing’ some years later. They’re the ones who should be saying to themselves ...

We use Wrose own if using mayo as an ingredient … but if using it in unadulterated form we like Tracklements as a substitute for home made … it’s made with sunflower oil.

This site https://www.boursin.co.uk/faq-contact-us/ states that “… Boursin is made in Croisy-sur-Eure in France,…” I really doubt that they would be producing the same cheese to two different standards of hygiene etc in the same factory. Far too much risk of cross-contamination etc. You could always...

Role models … really? TV presenters are role models for adults?! Since when? I get that perhaps Blue Peter presenters etc ought to be aware of their influence on children but I really don’t get the idea of role models for adults. What is the scum that forms when boiling gammon? …answer here … “… The scum is denatured protein, mostly comprising the same proteins that make up egg whites.
