I have been to Margate a few times for work. All a bit surreal. The first time we went down in mid-summer to a council meeting, then onto the beach to look at the sewer outfall. We ended up walking across the beach avoiding sunbathers in our suits and office shoes! :D

I don't feel I know enough to judge how likely we are to import inferior, possibly dangerous, food, but this scenario certainly seems entirely plausible. https://www.theguardian.com/business/20 ... ays-report

Yes, it does. To think we were mostly concerned about foods from non EU countries when Brexit was first introduced! Of course, we should be grateful for any food when times are hard but the source is always good to know.

Let's hope its not the bean growers who suffer from this in the long run.
