Two of my favourites ways with chicken suffs & WW.
The braised ox cheeks were delicious, I toyed with making some dumplings but in the end up opted for some simply steamed baby spuds. There was lots of veg in the braise so didn't cook any extra. Tonight I'm planning to try this as I have tortillas needing used up https://www.nigella.com/recipes/egg-tor ... ?auth=true though might for a quesadilla instead.

Such lovely things! The ox cheeks look very warming and welcoming.
I had sea bass stuffed with ginger and coriander last night with assorted veggies and some cannelini beans done in the same pan. Lovely.
There was veg left over so I've added it to leftover meatballs from the night before and will make a quick supper with the rest of the beans before going out tonight.

The sea bass sounds lovely EM.
In the end I opted to not put the oven on just for the the tortilla pie and I thought it might burn in the air fryer and went for a quesadilla topped with a fried egg. With the leftover roast veg from Saturday it made a very quick to make and tasty meal.

Goodness this week seems to have rattled along. On Tuesday I made a cottage pie with some of the ox cheek stew chopped up. It was scrumptious, but the less said about the resulting surplus mash situation the better!
Last night I had pasta shells with a broccoli, pesto and tomato sauce, tasty enough but nothing special.
Tonight it's corned beef hash with either beans and a fried egg or peas and gravy.

LTC, if you feel like giving the broccoli a bit of a lift next time, I recommend anchovies (Possibly not with the pesto though )

Yes it needed something either anchovies as you say or a bit more pesto. It was fine for a mid week meal just lacked a bit of oomph, there's leftovers for lunch and for ease I'll add a dash of hot sauce to jazz it up a bit.

I make broccoli, chilli and anchovy pasta - I love it! (Absolutely NO tomato, though!)

Sounds good, the dash of hot sauce on the leftovers worked a treat.

I made a faux chicken and mushroom goulash. Last night we had husband's favourite - pasta pesto. I seem to be making very studenty meals at the moment.
He bought another pack of veggie mince. I am not sure what to do with it.
When that's been eaten, I have three new cook books. I think it's time I made something different.

We have something similar, pasta vruoccoli arriminati, which is pasta tossed with broccoli, raisins, toasted pine nuts and anchovy. I make it when the Romanesco is ready.

I'm just home from an 11-hour day and am delighted to find a lamb hotpot (with crispy potato topping) in the oven and a large g&t nearby

How lovely to come home to after such a long day WW .
Last night's corned beef hash was delicious. I baked in a shallow dish so there was lots of crispy bits and served it with steamed baby carrots, peas and Bisto gravy.

Looks great ltc!
Yesterday I made an unusual stroganoff but as a slow cook dish as OH forgot what the beef was for and bought the wrong cut. I used all of the usual ingredients but cooked it slowly. We had it with some chips and spinach on the side.
We're having Persian style seabass tonight with herb pilaf and spinach borani. I'd never heard of borani before but it's a yoghurt dip...this version includes spinach, pine nuts, lemon, and garlic.
Tomorrow we are planning a Greek meze to include lamb chops, baba ganoush, olives, greek salad, grilled peppers, possibly some lemony potatoes.
On Sunday we are lighting the outdoor oven throughout the day to slow cook various dishes for Sunday evening and the week ahead. I need to plan and shop for that. We will definitely roast a lot of peppers and tomatoes to make a vat of tomato sauce for the freezer. Definitely a pot of chilli and jacket potatoes on the go. And possibly souvlaki or koftas for Sunday.

Tonight we had a rather scrummy roasted red pepper quiche, with a custard that incorporated a load of cottage cheese, as well as some cream (I wasn't using the cottage cheese to reduce the calories and fat, just because it was there )
A nice crisp salad of shredded iceberg heart with lambs lettuce.
The hash looks great, LTC I confess, it's one of those things I've never actually made

Delicious sounding meals OMCO.
Gorgeous looking quiche KC2 I'm glad the a cottage cheese addition worked. You should definitely give corned beef hash a go, it's proper winter comfort food.
Dinner yesterday was a simple traybake of Cajun spiced chicken wings and sweet potatoes served with some steamed green beans.
Overnight I defrosted venison mince, pork mince and a couple of slices of haggis. The venison mince was probably the oldest thing in my freezer (by a lot ) but was vac packed and was just fine when defrosted. I used some of it and some pork mince along with the haggis to make a burger for tonight and 12 meatballs. I'll cook then freeze the meatballs tomorrow. The rest of both minces will be used for a batch of ragu.

Simon Rimmer's haddock in Provencal sauce for us tonight, with baby potatoes and peas.
I made the sauce earlier.
It's nice but it's pretty robust. Might be too heavy for the fish.
Surprisingly I found a sprig of tarragon in the garden.
Edit
Ugh
Never again.

WW - how wonderful to come home from a long day to that. LTC - I’m inspired to make corned beef hash. OMCO - you are an inspiration (sadly only in theory as I am still being very pedestrian in our cooking).
In fairness (to me) I got back from Kaz Thursday afternoon, went to work on Friday and went straight from work to a weekend to walk part of the Norfolk coastal path. Had lovely in Norfolk. On Friday night we shared some oysters, I then had the starter sized scallops with a side of broccoli. Walked 14 miles yesterday morning and stopped at a lovely pub. I had Norfolk gammon, duck egg and chips. Delicious. Last night OH and I shared a crayfish starter and then I had a portobello and goat cheese tian.we’ve just home and going to have a Vietnamese takeaway.
After six months in the new job, I have a week off this week. Can’t wait to sort the house out and get organised for proper cooking.

I think you have a least two good reasons not to be doing a lot of cooking just now Rocky.
I had a productive session in the kitchen earlier prepping dinner and making a pot of venison & pork ragu.
I really enjoyed last night's venison, pork & haggis burger I'm hoping the meatballs are just as good. The photo doesn't do it justice at all!
Oven baked brined pork chop with baby potatoes, green beans and slow cooked red cabbage for dinner.

Rocky - where did you walk and where did you eat? There are some nice places up there and we visit a fair bit.

Late lunch of chicken and a rice pilaf with the last of Mamta's broccoli. Then a few snacky bites cooked on the wood burner at 9pm. The ckx. carcass is bubbling on the stove so probably some warming soups later this week. Venison stk. tomorrow with cottage fries and some fluted carrots. I still have some cooked ckx. to use up on Tuesday. Out to lunch with friends on Wed. at their home. That's as far as I have got this week....
