I have smoked gammon in the fridge, so tonight, OH can have his with the 'usuals' and I'll have pea and ham soup.
My lovely neighbour offered to get me a baby cup. I couldn't quite accept that one.
While you don’t want the Tommy Tippee option, adult feeder cups are a thing, and probably easier with thick liquids than a straw, possibly less inclined to cause you to swallow air too, that can get unpleasant
Easily available via pharmacies or online, for example

I am coming round to it. My nerves must have been damaged in the fracture and i feel like I've had facial injections.
Thanks SS for the link

The swelling may press on your nerves, too. With luck it is only that and once it goes off you may be back to normal.

My favourite smoothie is banana and fresh spinach. You wouldn't believe it, but it's gorgeous.
Add some soya/ almond milk, and it's smoother as it were.
You can get some dried peanut butter and add a spoonful or 2. (it makes a nice banana combo).
And I have my smoothies in this tumbler (bought at Waitrose for a tenner).
It keeps drinks cold as it's double lined/ insulated; an Aladdin Mason, and Zero pointed out, it's got a wide straw.

There's always Lassi too, Sloe- I like sweet and savoury Lassi. Mamta has a few recipes (here's one for savoury Lassi for example):
