Pepper Pig,
How very kind of you.
I'd love
The Oxford Companion to Food - Alan Davidson
and
if you have it, and it isn't too greedy Elizabeth David's French Provincial My rather tattered 1960s copy got lost when we moved and I haven't managed to replace it.

2000 cook books - that's really impressive - more than a specialist book shop would have.

No hurry as I have to up date the defunct e-mail on this site.

Can't see the Elizabeth David Maria but that doesn't mean I don't have it. I'll keep it in mind.

i wonder if rocky has seen your generous offer - didn't she loose all of her cookbooks in the hurricane?

hahaha - i think the only one i could think of was the elizabeth david - i've picked up a couple of her other ones but not the french provincial. (charity shops and abebooks).

actually, i have thought of a couple i have been looking for - jerusalem (ottolenghi) and simply (sabrina ghayour) but as they are quite recent (and if you have them) you may still be using them.

DD2 did a mega book clearout today. Many old favourites have gone to the Hospice shop in Hemel. Sorry Scully, I do have Jerusalem but I haven't finished with it yet.

Free to whoever wants:

1. Arabella Boxer's Book of English Food

2. The Farmhouse Kitchen Baking Book (Grace Mulligan)

3. The Times Cookbook - Frances Bissell

4. The French Laundry Cookbook - Thomas Keller

I wil hang onto these if no-one wants them. Sorry but the Elizabeth David didn't turn up.

I got the Giorgio Locatelli, I hadn’t expected it to be quite such a monster tome, but will work my way through it gradually, and fortunately it’s indexed on Eat Your Books

Photography by Dan Lepard too

Really pleased, thanks Pepper Pig!
