There's a PDSA at New Cross which require 24hrs notice I think. (Or maybe a closer branch to you.) You could book with them in case Streatham doesn't work. It's impossible to ignore any pains in the head so fingers crossed he's sorted soon.

Well he's all booked in and they know it's not just routine. Hopefulyl it will be ok.

He doesn't seem to be utterly miserable at least. Or he's not withdrawn...

We bought for the first time a bag of frozen mashed potatoes from Iceland. The idea was to make quick fish cakes and toppings for fish/shepherds/cottage pies.

They are surprisingly good, and with a dollop of butter mashed in, you can't tell the difference between them and 'proper' mash, especially if there's gravy or a sauce involved. Definitely something to recommend as a freezer standy.

I think Delia recommended discs of frozen mash for a quick and easy fish pie.
