Suffs, what proportions do you use in your standard vinaigrette? I've been finding recently that when I use white wine vinegar, different brands are so different as to hardly be the same ingredient. I've plumped on the Sainsbury's own brand as my favourite now.

Vinaigrette on AVOCADO (did anyone hear the funny avocado piece at the end of the R4 1'o'clock news, btw?)

Very ish (I do it by eye) … but I suppose it’s more or less 1 part vinegar to 3 parts oil … sometimes a little more oil.
