Well … baked gammon Scully … so a pretty good attempt from you ;)

Given the chill in the air here, shall we have a couple of cloves in mulled CIDER ?

Desiccated coconut ?!?! as I’ve said here on several occasions it’s one of the few foodstuffs I just can’t be doing with … but in line with my upbringing not to be fussy I’ve been searching for a recipe for it that I think I might be able to manage … and I’ve found this

https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/frie ... open_88790

so we’ll go with CHICKEN THIGHS

i won't be mean and go for hawthorn berries in the 'hawsin' sauce (rather good but a faff to make) recipe by hugh fernleigh-eatitall so i'll go for another chinese adaptation of tofu in hoisin sauce.

toasted sesame oil used in humous when you've run out of tahini (oops) along with preserved lemon instead of lemon juice ( which really gives it an extra something).

One of our favourites is LAMB CUTLETS with harissa and pomegranate molasses.

I base ours on a Woman & Home recipe that for some reason I can’t link to …. but Google finds it.
