I like the look of the dill sauce and the website too!
GD chose supper last night. We were in the car and I said she could choose between sausages and chunky fish fingers. She said she'd really hoped we were having 'yellow fish'. She's mad about smoked haddock at the moment. So we had yellow fish, asparagus, green beans, mushrooms and plain pasta with a small sprinkling of grated cheese. I had made orange jelly containing tinned mandarins and bits of trifle sponge earlier. Pretty much her perfect supper .

I'd be pretty happy with that too EM
I like the look of that dill and mustard sauce, thanks Gill. I usually buy the jars from IKEA but that looks the business.
Our bangers and mash went down a treat with my son, apparently I make the best mash lol.
Easy one tonight, breaded haddock from the freezer, baked spuds, broad beans, peas and parsley sauce.

Some lovely photos here. Amy's client's dish looked fab.
I seem to have gained a bit more strength and can stand in the kitchen for 15 mins quite easily. I also have a high stool if needed. Earlier in the week I did a slow cooker Thai curry of vegetables and lentils. That did us for two dinners.
Tonight we're having bangers and mash with gravy, OH is cooking that, and I've made more of the Nigella express chocolate mousses, but this time with a spoonful of Camp coffee as a flavouring. I hope it isn't vile....
Edit: the mousse about to be eaten, with shattered Crunchie as as a topping

Tonight was Delia's pasta puttanesca.
An old favourite but for some reason it didn't hit the spot for me tonight.
Now being deafened by the rugby commentary.
I may have to go into the other room before my ears start bleeding.
Still haven't found the coffee beans.

Binky - glad to hear that you've gained a bit of strength. Your dessert looks very moreish!
Amy - your client is cooking up a storm - 2 really nice looking plates of food that I'd be more than happy to dive into! Well done him!

Fab looking dessert Binky
Well done to your client Amy another delicious looking dish
I'm trying a recipe featured in the Guardian this week for dinner tonight - Pomegranate and sumac chicken https://www.theguardian.com/food/2021/m ... and-cyprus .
My son is making a salad to have with it which includes griddled aubergines & courgettes, feta, rocket and tomato. I'll roast some baby potatoes with garlic & oregano and make a yoghurt dip.

Quite a nice wee site.
That looks good - and could be scaled down simply by using a smaller spoon
Incidentally chopped dill is one of the few soft green herbs that freezes really well, I make sure it’s very well dried, chop, open freeze, then put in a zip bag or a tub
The ready made stuff I get from IKEA , even Scandi kitchen didn’t have any last time I went
Re: What's everyone cooking this week? 2
Not sure what we are having with it but salad from the garden
will be included. The lettuce, spinach and mustard greens
are growing like crazy. Looks like there are radishes and strawberries to
pick as well.

I'm having a go at the chicken kedjenou tonight.
It's been in the marinade for an hour or so.
I'm a bit bored with food at the moment so I'm trying something new.
I don't have any millet so I will serve it with rice.

Homemade kebab using “vegetarian kebab meat” with sweet chilli sauce, garlic dressing and my first time using the air frier to do chips

Chicken kedjenou
Hmmmm....
I went through to check on it after half an hour, to be greeted by a smell of burning.
All the veg base had welded itself to the bottom of the pan, and was charred beyond salvation.
The chicken had been on top of the veg so that was fine.
I cooked the rice as planned and quickly chopped up the contents of the salad drawer.
Served with coleslaw it was quite nice in the end.

Amyw, lovely, and your clients' dishes look fantastic!
We had Rachel Roddy's Sophia Loren pasta from today's Grauniad - the recipe isn't online yet - a sort of parsley pesto with anchovies, capers and olives. it was delicious!

Thank you KC2, that pasta sounds lovely , a lot of my favourite flavours there
Re: What's everyone cooking this week? 2
Lovely, Amy - looks like a very "comforting" meal.
I couldn't decide what to have yesterday so fell back onto broccoli penne - simple and literally only 15 minutes to prepare and cook - it really hit the spot.

All looks great - how were the air fryer chips Amy?
Last night I had veggie sausages and mash with onion gravy and cauliflower
Tonight I made the pomegranate and sumac chicken mentioned on the Wild about Chatter thread, was nice but my pomegranate molasses is quite sharp and I’m not sure adding a fairly small amount of sumac made much difference. I did it as a one tin bake, the chicken, roast Jersey royals and roast asparagus, good Saturday dinner

Amazing , especially considering I had no idea what I was doing and basically winging it . I might cook for slightly less time next time as they were pretty crispy , but far superior to other home cooked chips .
The pomegranate and sumac chicken sounds good . I live both those flavours

I love sumac (and pomegranate) so might try that. Also now interested in an air fryer!
We had lunch out yesterday. I wasn’t all that hungry so had a starter portion of hot smoked salmon and prawn cocktail with sourdough. It was delicious. Dinner was a shared ribeye steak with leek and bacon risotto and tender stem broccoli For some reason OH loves risotto as a side with steak. Lunch will be halloumi, olives, feta and salad and I’ll see what OH wants for dinner. Maybe fish pie as I bought some smoked haddock yesterday.
You have no idea how exciting (and cheap) UK supermarkets are. OH and I must have looked like we’d been beamed in from another planet in the shop yesterday!

Re: What's everyone cooking this week? 2
Air fried chips are the business IMHO.
The pomegranate and sumac chicken was lovely but for personal preference I'd add a bit of hotter chilli along with the pul biber next time, my son felt the same. I thought the sumac came through okay in ours Sue but the pul biber got a bit lost as did the all spice. One I'll play about with now I've tried as per recipe.
Slow roasted belly pork with mash, carrots, green beans, broccoli and gravy for dinner this evening.

I would guess whether you detect the sumac or not would depend on the molasses, this one (Marigold) is a bit sharp, I think it would be more noticeable with the more aromatic Lebanese pomegranate molasses
Agree it needs a bit more spice to cut through the garlic and molasses
