Nice lonely pork chop and Lebanese spread LTC. Freezer lasagna is definitely the thing! Bet you don't have 27 (now 25) Always good.

Got a lovely big enough for two swordfish steak at my favourite fish counter. It was on special and it was good :D Marinated Spanish style again - pulverised garlic, evoo, touch of vinegar, salt, pimenton dulce (paprika) and a touch of smoked, sizzled, served with potato salad and a side salad of watermelon remajon with oranges, capers, kalamata olives, white balsamic, shreds of prosciutto, s&p, and a tiny bit of feta for a hot day.

Lol ZC no that was the last one, I'm working my way through single portions of stuff lurking in the freezer while my son is away.
Swordfish looks stunning as does the side salad. :yum
I've belly pork strips defrosting to cook later haven't quite decided what to do with them yet.

That looks fantastico, Zero. I do so like a potato salad in summer.
Indeed one of my all time favourites would be ensalad rusa.

Nowt special here, as Tony's got a bad back and his appetite is shot.
I've just assembled our new outdoor cantilever umbrella (that we bought in March!) and we plan to sit in the pleasant shade with a bottle of beer.
And have a tomato and red onion salad, with egg mayonnaise on the patio.

Swordfish looks good
Might get some if there’s any around, or a tuna steak.

I’ve just had a lunch time salad with posh canned tuna (albacore in evoo), which was appropriate for a hot day and a bit of a triumph as canned and oily fish have both been among the things I couldn’t eat for months but this tasted right

Tonight will be a veggie chilli with rose coco beans and butternut squash

Good to hear your taste buds are recovering Sue, that's been a long time now :)
Poor OH Gil hope it eases soon, beer and food in the shade sounds just fab.
Before I headed to the garden I popped the pork belly strips in a marinade of rosemary, sage and thyme from the garden, red wine and garlic. I also peeled and chunked some sweet potatoes. Just need to pop it in the oven later and sort out some other veg.

Tonight we are having baked lamb chops, Jerseys and a courgette, cherry tomato and feta bake.

Tomorrow will be Ossobucco and risotto Milanese.

Can you tell I am clearing the freezer?

Monster homemade burgers for our first barbecue at work this summer . Beef mince , red onion, garlic , chilli flakes , seasoning and an egg then a little nugget of mozzarella in each one … pappy white rolls a must . Also made some caramelised onions and apple for the hotdogs and potato salad with mint and spring onion.

Did a four Mile walk and hardly ate during the day to save my calories for this , now we’ll and truly stuffed . The girls loved it too

Salivating at 7.30am Amy !!!!!

Our ruby red beef was soooo tender but could have done with a bit more 'beef' flavour. Had with jersey royals and a mixed salad - divine.

Today is sausage BBQ around 3pm with various salads and some BBQ'd BNS and crown squash etc. Saus. are Boerewors, cumberland for hubb as he is not keen on B. Might be a sarnie much later if required.

Sausage bbq sounds excellent Zoosh :yum

Easy one for me tonight, I've defrosted a small, mainly sauce, portion of lamb curry that I'm going to pad out with spinach and spuds. A piece of toasted pitta bread for dipping and that's dinner sorted. :)

Salads today - lunch was tomato and avocado slices artfully arranged on a lettuce leaf and basil leaves with drizzled EVOO and expensive balsamic, mopped up with olive bread. Soft goat's cheese on more olive bread. (We really like the Sainsbury's one.)

Supper was a cooked chicken breast I found in the freezer, soaked with artichokes, artichoke oil and tarragon vinegar with steamed tenderstem broccoli and a nice oil and vinegar dressing. And some of yesterday's banana bread (new recipe, very successful)

Last night was lots of roast peppers, onions and courgettes with tabbouleh. Chilled poached pears in syrup with saffron, cardamom, vanilla and cinnamon.

Yesterday's lunch was grated carrot salad with bits and pieces including cashews (again! after its success last week :D ) Olive bread and Cornish brie.

Lovely looking burger. I had one myself (although from a pub) that was one of the best I have ever had. Couldn’t eat anything last night. We had a real treat on Friday. Went to stay with some friends and they cooked a variety of steaks (ribeye, sirloin and bavette) which we had with gorgeous asparagus, jerseys and a tomato salad. Delicious!

Tonight we are having what we intended to have over the weekend. Lamb steaks with caponata and baby potatoes.

Rained off from gardening so decided to make a quick pot of mushroom soup and a pan of white sauce to use up surplus mushrooms and milk. Soup for lunch and cauli cheese possibly tonight though the sauce was made to be portioned and frozen rather than with anything specific in mind.

Tonight's supper: https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/tom ... bean-salad
This was the basic idea with a few changes as I didn't have everything

The Little Waitrose at the end of the road has started to sell burrata :thumbsup Long may it continue :crossed

That looks very good KC2, pretty plate

I got some fresh British sardines, butterflied them, smeared with harissa and evoo and cooked on the grill pan. I also grilled some courgette and red pepper. Yum.
