B****y seagulls! DD nearly had a whole portion of fish & chips snatched the other day. She saw him eyeing them up just in time!

I'd have been very sad about the ice cream.

A St Ives seagull once left OH with an empty cornet ... he'd bought two .and was bringing them to join me as I was waiting in the shade .. he said the one the seagull took was mine

I have a posh ice cream maker. It gets used about once every two years.

i used to have an ice cream machine (well, two in serial, not the posh type, just the sort that the bowl goes in the freezer). they were used quite a lot but both succumbed to 'bowl split' after a few years. if i had a posh one it wouldn't be living in the shed!

No. Mine lives on the counter but it has specific instructions, like fridges, about not moving. Used to drive OH mad before he got past caring. Once the GCs are back for a while I think I will resurrect it.
