Would this be possible when you finish any new ones pending on your list ?
I shall think about this though !!
I actually love my Avatar !!

Barcelona, soulful & spirited, filled with fine art, amazing architecture, profoundly steeped in culture & history, and it engages all your senses, and food fancies.

I’m quite happy with my habaneros, photo taken in a market in La Habana Cuba
Re: Avatars
Member 461, I love lighthouses too and when on a three week sail on Lake Michigan, my friend Hal, used to point out all the lighthouses and I like to climb up to the top if I get the chance, which I did do in Key West. He had a sweatshirt which was covered in Lake Michigan lighthouses!

Renée,
I have never been to Michigan, however, I have done the Galician Lighthouse Route both professionally & as a personal trip & also, The Quebec Lighthouse Route on a personal trip ..
Both have been most memorable ..
There is a Spanish Parador Network of approx. 90 Hotels, in which 50 or 60 are historic buildings renovated into 4 and 5 star hotels.
In Lugo, Galicia (north eastern Galicia), there is a Tower, a former Medieval Castle .. This stone tower Castle has grand enchantment as well ..

So, many amazing castles in Europe and Scotland & England as well ..
Have a lovely evening !!

Re: Avatars
My current avatar is a gibbon.
Gibbons are the thing, this year.
I can feel a change of gibbon coming on within the next few days...

Re: Avatars
That's a kind offer, Sakkarin, but like others I do really like my current avatar.
The Rainbow Lorikeet is a lovely parrot and we have lots of them around where I live - now up in Queensland, but they are all over the country! This one was a photo I took at our previous house, out on the back verandah.

Re: Avatars
Look forward to your change of Gibbon, KK.
Hope things aren't too bad for you in Venezuela. When we travelled round S. America (1979-1980) it was Argentina that had the massive inflation rates!!
