Karakoolaide,
They are delighting with charcuterie and cheeses too ..
Never had them fried however ..
They are usually gone the minute I get home .. I buy mine in a special kiosk normally where they are stored in a white vinegar brine, in oak barrels ..
They are a common tapa during harvest season ..
I also buy jars of them as well .. Very fond of them .. ( never put in frig as they are finished if we open a jar .. )
Have a lovely evening ..

Jeral, Joan, Scullion, Suffs & Sue,
Thank you for all your feedback ..
As I am in Portugal beginning a tour Tuesday, this shall be a quickie ..
1) A jar would never go in frig as there are never any left overs when it comes to Caperberries .. We are extraordinarily fond of them ..
2) I buy them from a Kiosk at the Le Mercat de La Boqueria, and they are stored in oak barrels in a white vinegar type brine ..
I have never seen them in salt ..
3) Thanks Joan for the suggestions .. Yes, I serve them with charcuterie and cheeses .. Or just down them !
Have a wonderful evening ..
