Popped in to Tesco (in Pinner) and found that the Philadelphia 180g pots were on offer at £1 each (with a Tesco Clubcard) whereas the big 340g pots were still at the full price of £3.

Yes, I noticed the other day that the smaller pots were a better buy than the large ones in Asda. I took advantage!

On driving back from Gatters on Wed. evening we had to stop for bread at the Co-op in Ludgershall and picked up a roasted chicken for £2 so that will be supper tonight. Might even treat us to some of the smaller pink fir apples and some sort of veg.

I have a hankering for coronation chicken so will pick the meat off the wings but will wait for my mouth ulcers to heal before eating.

Aldi has frozen mixed cooked seafood, £2.99 for 350g.
I tried it last night, served with savoury rice as a paella-type thing.

It contained mussels, good sized prawns and squid rings.
Really tasty, we enjoyed it.
