Lushy

The do nuts went down a treat. I ordered three dozen for my area and the activities Lady got at least a couple dozen if not more. Also did it for moms day. Had a nice variety of product. It was fun.

You find such interesting looking programmes, Mark. I'm so bad at finding anything unless it's on our main TV channels.
Those donuts must have gone down a treat!

Sorry, not a cooking show although they do serve food! Am wondering if either Patsy or KC2 saw this whenever it was on. It’s on Catch Up on All4 at present. Very, very ambitious.

The boat launched its first piano cruise last week. It’s moored at Uxbridge Marina and some of my friends have already been! They said it was fantastic!

It was really interesting and VERY ambitious. One of my friends went for an afternoon tea on their very first cruise. He was very impressed. They don’t mention doing food in the programme, it’s more about getting a Steinway grand onto the boat! And also what an amazing pianist Masa is.

The current boarding place is The Bear on the Bridge which is just up the road from Pat.

It reminds me of an event OH put on at Tate Modern in 2007 in which a grand piano was played on a (moored) barge on the Thames https://www.london-se1.co.uk/whatson/ev ... time-rites

PP, do you know the name of the programme? I am not registered and so can't see.

How did they get the Steinway onto the boat? Some sort of hoist maybe? Must have needed some TLC afterwards. Whereabouts on the boat is it?

Yes. My Floating Home. Series 3, episode 1.

The boat was wider than a narrow boat and was built in Notts. The piano was hoisted into the concert hall part of the boat via an especially large sunroof!

oooh, must pop a long to see this ...only down the road.

I can't open the link - do they mean the Marina at the Swan & Bottle just along from the Parexel building as there is another marina just the other side of Uxbridge, opposite a another pub... :?

A further edit to add that only series 1 & 2 are on catch-up ... seems you have to subscribe to Amazon Prime to see series 3  :thumbsdown

Edited to add that I will have to investigate as there is also another marina opposite the Bear on the Barge (was the Horse and Barge)

I'm not an Amazon subscriber Pat and I found it on All4.Com. https://www.channel4.com/programmes/my- ... /69039-001

It's not in its permanent mooring at the moment but the trips are going from the Bear and Barge.
