red kidney bean paté with anything you like to flavour it usually but i'm going to go for, among other things, smoked paprika this time.

Capers in with Mayo which we will have with Lobster and Crab today for lunch in the garden (in the shade it's so blimmin ot). Fish on Fridays too ! The capers are the ones I picked and pickled in Rhodes

I'm sure Mrs Bridges regularly cooked mutton stew with caper sauce for the servants at Eaton Place.

Mutton makes a better curry than lamb if you have the time to cook it slowly, and one of my favourites is a Raza Muhammad curry in which whole black peppercorns are cooked low and slow until they rehydrate into pepper berries

I made that Raza curry a few years back Sue on our Dena's recommendation & very good it was too.

Roast CAULIFLOWER with ground coriander and tahini Edited to add "and lemon juice" that I forgot

good old cauliflower cheese with some leeks and carrots added in for good measure.

Julienned (sp?) carrots with mint, ginger, lemon juice and a bit of caster sugar
