I've always assumed that bicarb plus cream of tartar = baking powder. But I could be wrong.

You're right aero. Some double action baking powders have other ingredients too.

Impressed at the strudel, Sakk. I've seen strudel dough being made but never tried it myself. Savoury version could be v good.

I am going to be making this tomorrow

I have an enormous courgette that looks like a marrow and a pack of feta cheese that has been in the freezer forever ;)

Oh and Herbes de Provence courtesy of our late friend Joan .. :thumbsup

That strudel looks great!

I’ve just made some more cheese scones. I added some of the bucket of smoked dried tomatoes and fennel seeds to the mix which worked really well.

Epic. And I'm impressed that you managed to limit yourself to just making a single portion...

What a site! The lemon bars look good! If I can persuade myself to use 375g sugar in the lemon topping!! Better if someone else makes them for me and then I never know

Ha! Looking at that site Amy's Millionaire's Shortbread came from, I see a bit of a theme!

Yours look better Amy, did you use "proper" chocolate or melted chocolate orange for the chocolate coating? The ones on the website look slightly anaemic.
