Thank you Lee, for your efforts over the years. We all owe you lots, as we do to Sakks and all the moderators. As others have said, it has added to our lives and I for one still refer to it from time to time. :thumbsup

Maybe it would be good to somehow merge the two chatterbox threads together so it’s less Wildies and others but one big family ??[/quote]

Sounds like a great idea to me.

Ditto

As long as we're not too chatty so that we drive the others to distraction

Huge thanks to Rio for all the work over the years on the lovely Wildie forum. It was such a great refuge for those of us displaced by the BBC and so many people got to know each other really well.

Huge thanks to Sakkarin too, for giving us a temporary new home & please can we stay & move in permanently?! I for one promise to behave myself, can't speak for the others!!

That's a shame. Thanks for all the work in the background, Lee, that kept it running for so long.

Oh dear, so sorry Rio. Many thanks for your MB, it was good fun and I learn't a lot and made cyber-friends. Thanks for all your work creating and supporting it for so long, it was a labour of love.

I hope that you and your family are safe and well, troubling times but bearable if everyone is well.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and the heart-blood you poured into the board, Rio! It is much appreciated.
You must be heart-broken.
It is a pity that it came without warning. It would have been nice to look at some of the old PM's, esptecially the conversations I had with the members that are no longer with us ... ah well.

Still, it's a comfort that we can still read our old posts.

I wonder if I can still do the Advent Calendar thingy on here.
Will that be allowed, as it's not food-related?

'Twas fun tho

Such a shame, but many many thanks for all the hard work trying to keep Wildfood going.

Sorry I can’t remember who mentioned PMs, I can still log on to the old site and see all my old messages. Hope everyone else can see theirs too.

-Update, it worked!!! I will try and download them now to archive them. Thanks again, Amber! I am so glad! :newhuggy
