Lamb (ideally neck fillet) marinated with garlic, evoo, lemon and lots of oregano made into kebabs, cooked over charcoal, and slid off the skewers into pita bread

How about Provençal picnic sandwich (Pan bagnat) for a picnic. That gives a wide choice of next items over to you

we used to have a similar thing at school known as the munchburger. you got half a baguette and filled it with whatever you wanted from great bowls of salad and stuff, which included baked beans.

I had crisp bacon last night with cauliflower cheese, so cheese sauce as I have a lot in the freezer
I cooked the bacon in the oven while I was browning the cauliflower cheese, I'd almost forgotten what a good way of doing it that is
