I was logged out earlier but managed to log in again with ease.

Many thanks Sakkarin and Rio and other alternative MB hosts. The 'Platforms' don't make it easy.

I’ve had trouble getting onto the board tonight ....the usual address takes me to a business car picture.

I wonder what the odds are of trying to access or post at the few minutes in an hour that this happens - they seem to be quite high!

Someone mentioned that the dropout times coincided with typically telly break times, but as it also happens overnight, e.g. 2.30 or 3.00am I discounted that, unless the server itself entertains a lot of international traffic for other clients.

I don't find it a problem as Sakkarin has identified it as a known unknown. It's unknown unknowns that cause chin rubbing.

Or hair tearing out!

For the record, I tend to write my posts in Notepad, then cut and paste them when I'm ready to post, that way I tend not to lose posts if there's a hiccup. Not always though, and sometimes I don't hit "submit" again when the board tells me that someone else has already posted in between, "do you still want to post?".

I can’t post a screenshot (too large), but maybe this will take you to what I’m getting when I search sakkarin.co.uk .

Thank goodness for history!

Amber
Sakkarin will tell us if I’m wrong but I think you need to reset you’re saved link Amber

You are going to the archive at

http://sakkarin.co.uk/

But you need to go to go to the current location at

http://sakkarin.co.uk/foodforum/

The extra foodforum/ is important

‘foodforum’ makes all the difference, thank you. It was all ok last week, it just took me to the original board, and I clicked through from there. Computers  . And their operators    .

19.59...internal server error, you have to admire the punctuality of it.

Also surplus 'Topic Reply Notification's. Just reporting, not complaining.

Unstickying this as hopefully everyone's got the message.

Not resolved, I can see no reason why it's happening, I hope it's not too much of a hinderance :-(

There is a new upgraded board we're looking at in the background in case the problem escalates.

And got it again at 14.14 today - exactly 15 mins after the xx.59 time. Is the issue increasing from every 30 minutes to every 15?

Yes, I've had the xx.14 one maybe three or four times in the last couple of days. Haven't noticed an equivalent at xx.44 or xx.48 yet
