Wildfood campsite
Thank you Sakkarin for inviting Wildies to camp out here and keep in touch while the Wildfood board is out of action.
I've had an email from Will as follows:
"I’ve heard back from Lee. Apparently the hosting service forced an upgrade to the software without telling anyone. It broke. They have to fix it. Sadly there’s nothing Lee or I can do. Hopefully it won’t be down for long.
Cheers!
Will"
So we'll just have to be patient ....... just when we needed to keep in touch with our friends the most ... so we really really are grateful for our little campsite and picnic bench here Sakkarin ... many thanks for your hospitality

It'll have to be Rhubarb & Custard Cake .... can't keep up with the rhubarb this year ... you'll have to help ...
Re: Wildfood campsite

Never mind!!! I'll catch it!!!!

I was going to bake today, but somehow other things were more important ... sigh.

On the subject of rhubarb, a friend recently sent me a recipe for rhubarb and blood orange clafoutis. This is lovely. I've since found out it's a Tommi Miers recipe.
Re: Wildfood campsite
That sounds lovely Badgersmate ... if only we could go out and buy some oranges ... but we have got some marmalade ...

We were up on the coast last week, before the world turned upside down, and got a couple of blood oranges from the shop at Drove Orchards, Thornham.

What a super looking rhubarb and custard cakette. I don't usually eat cake ................. (who am I kidding), but will indulge just this once!
PS
I'm keeping my eyes open if Wildies want to activate a new account here and will pop something onto Facebook.

Re: Wildfood campsite
good morning, folks.
hope you're all keeping well, safe and occupied.
who's going to admit (like me) that they're still in their pyjamas‽‽ - or am i the only slob?
some washing to go on in a bit to use the last sunny day, for a little while, wisely.
have a good day, everyone.

Re: Wildfood campsite
Good morning all ... sunshine again ... if a bit chilly .. and there's more gardening to be done.
I'm up and dressed and have 'done my eyes' Scully
I've also emailed an order to a farm shop a few miles away ... we can collect it on Monday. Much better than continually popping into Wrose and finding they still have no flour of any description.
Right, outside is calling .......

Just a quick good morning! Good to see everyone. Thank you Sakkarin & co for welcoming us.
I just wrote quite a lot and it disappeared. Not a good start and one of the reasons I'm still in my dressing gown .

Hi, its Moira in Sunny Cyprus, yes it is 20 C
We are under lock down but filling in the appropriate bit of paper will enable you to shop. I completed my form, no one checked, no police to be seen anywhere. Deb is walking the dog without completing her permit (shock horror), there are some charming videos of dogs carrying their owners permits.

Thanks for the welcome, Sakkarin - I only really meant to quote the "eyes" bit of Suffs' post
It was a clue in one of today's crosswords that made me think you never see children with styes, these days - or boils. They were quite commonplace when I was growing up in the North West.

Hello everyone, just to say I've found my way back here
