Re: Luke Nguyens Food Trail
Not enough space - I've still got about three series of Luke Nguyen programmes on my TiVo.
I'll wait for your reviews before I indulge - for me his expertise is in Vietnamese dishes, which to an extent he's already exhausted.

Spoilers alert

The chix curry looks good. I can get the Vietnamese curry powder thru Amazon how hot is it...the teaspoon of chili flakes wouldn't make it too brutal???
https://www.amazon.com/Double-Golden-Fi ... owder&th=1
Thought about whole chicken thighs or skinless boneless thighs
As far as the show, sometimes it gets silly bordering on goofy
Hey Sak, when you watched any of it, who aired?? Good food channel??

Re: Luke Nguyens Food Trail
We are currently getting Luke Nguyen's United Kingdom again on Good Food.
No sign of Australia so far, perhaps this is the warm up?
We have just had River Cottage Australia's

Here's what I have on my TiVo, they're all from Good Food channel. I've recorded much more, but generally I delete them when I've watched them (i.e. countless masterchef programmes). I've saved all these because they reflect my obsession with SE Asian food. I guess I should be on the lookout for the rest of those Vietnamese programmes when they rerun them next!
Luke Nguyen's Street Food Asia: 8 progs
Luke Nguyen's Greater Mekong: 10 progs
Luke Nguyen's Vietnam (the Pho one): 1 progs
Luke Nguyen's UK: 10 progs
John Torode's Malaysian Adventure: 10 progs
John Torode's Korean Food Tour: 10 progs
Gizzi Erskine's Seoul Food: 10 progs

Re: Luke Nguyens Food Trail
The latest epi aired Thursday night in AUS and is on the download circuit.
The Italian cuisine that was being described was pizza with a Vietnam twist
Started with a tomato sauce base.
Then added what looked like minced meat
Looked like white onion and some bean sprouts.
Saw tooth Coriander
(Unknown item)
Finely sliced sirloin, not sure cooked or raw
Torn up cheese, mozzarella, not sure if fresh
Drizzle of olive oil on topped
Oven
Shreds of deseeded red chili
Thai basil
And ta-da, the idea being a pho pizza
He kept talking over the pizza maker so it was confusing.
