I agree.
I prefer professional or Australian MasterChef but I will still watch it.

Another season of fun from Canada. Chef Alvin leung is my favourite. Reminds me of early Gordo......leung has the nick name of the devil chef.

And available thru the download circuit

WW

I am a very big fan of of MC Australia. Especially the master classes. I recall one with hestie on poached eggs. There are also great chefs that do the master classes.

Especially the master classes.

Interesting, I always switch them off.
Although some years ago I watched Matt Preston make a bread dough which required no kneading, just an overnight rest (don't we all....)
It resulted in a ciabatta style loaf which I still make.

Only 4 ingredients - water, salt, yeast & flour.

Talking of masterclasses, did you see that MPW is doing a course of online classes for £80?

MPW's might be good if it's interactive for questions to him.

He has free competition since Ramsay's cooking course starts on Monday 1 Mar at 10pm on Food Network, being Ep. 1 of 6.

I've set these to record since he's good but quick so I need to stop/start. Not sure if he'll give measurements or if it's a buy-the-book sort.

Steamed on discovery+ here in the States. The show will air on the magnolia network.

Do a key word search on you tube for Andrew zimmern. Lots of clips from bizzare foods. A great series in my mind.

A series from public broadcasting/PBS here in the states. The original shows with some updated commentary from guest food people including Martha Stewart.

Whenever I hear the name Julia child I think of this classic sketch from Saturday night live.........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSxv6IGBgFQ

I posted this a few minutes ago in the wrong place.

Simply Raymond Blanc, which will be on ITV today from 11.55-12.55. I watched it last Sunday and enjoyed it. Amongst other things he made three different versions of his mother's vegetable soup.

"Cookery series hosted by the one-and-only Raymond Blanc. Sharing a collection of delicious, yet simply prepared dishes, Blanc offers his expert advice on making the most of your ingredients. Raymond Blanc is a French-born Michelin-starred chef, restaurateur and the author of numerous best-selling cookbooks."

Look for it this week Monday at 900pm, Wednesday at 800pm and Friday at 805pm. All times notes are London/UK times. Also look for it on the iPlayer and eventually thru the download circuit.

As Comic Relief is coming up I thought it might be fun to revisit the time Gareth Malone trained the Celebrity Chefs choir. Can you name them all?
