I was wondering what the measurements are , thank you for clearing up . Pastry sounds very good , may have to try

Do you always use jumbo oats? I don't like them much for anything else so wouldn't really want to buy them just to try this.

I'd have agreed until I tried them again recently and they seem to have got their flavour back, Waitrose ones, very delish.

If I try it I'll use regular oats because that's what I've got!! Can't see why they wouldn't work - just a bit different in texture?
Let us know if you do try it out, EM - it'll be quite a while before I do, I expect!!

I add a small amount of parmesan to the flour and butter when making a quiche. The pastry is nice and crisp and has a good depth of flavour.

Finally got to make the two quiches - apparently they went down well!
The first was roasted leek and red pepper, with a bit of mild cheese on top; the second was (fresh) artichokes, smoky bacon and cream cheese.
