Re: talking Curry's
The wifi ones looked like fun, Pampy.
When our fridge freezer was delivered by "Curry's", they left it in the middle of the front garden, and scarpered. Claiming we hadn't booked installation - which was true, but I did expect it to be at least put inside.
Luckily Tony was home, as I couldn't have got it in the house on my own.
Double luckily, it fitted through our large front door, but only just with the oversized packaging.

Re: talking Curry's
There’s a deep-seated inability to communicate with those actually doing the job it seems
I made the Diana Henry Simple Goan Fish Curry tonight, not bad, could do with more tamarind - I teaspoon of paste to 200 ml coconut milk is minimal, and she (weirdly) salts the fish but not the sauce which needs it as the fish isn’t in for long. However unlike most curries using coconut milk she uses the right amount of liquid and makes a sauce, not a thin broth

Re: talking Curry's
After a few days of not really being interested in cooking, I made a Prawn Patia today, with a recipe from a Parsee family in Mumbai. Nothing even vaguely like the "Curry Inn" versions I remember from the UK, this one was really delicious. I made some mung bean dal and rice with aubergines to accompany:

The Goan fish sounds lovely, Sue. I must look for the recipe.
A nice-looking offering there too KK. I wish the aroma from these dishes would come through to the page!
When I have had items delivered from Currys I have been told they should be inspected for damage on arrival before the delivery person has gone. Never hugely practical but certainly
not in the garden!
