Yep, at exactly the same time.
Great minds etc...
So, how about the domino is farmhouse red Leicester or Hawes Wensleydale
The next player may choose.
As both are delicious with apple pie (and Christmas cake)

Re: "Food Pairings Dominoes"
Will thi cheeseboard have grapes?
Re: "Food Pairings Dominoes"
Nah, a shot of grappa ("Leave the bottle") E.g. when stilton (or other cheese) is grilled to finish Portabello or flat field mushroom to sit inside a burger bun.
Edit apols, very rude of me. I'm sure I could find a grape salad that goes with burgers

Re: "Food Pairings Dominoes"
A large flat real field mushroom (from a field) with several rashers of BRITISH DRY CURED SMOKED MIDDLE CUT OF BACON ... if you can get it ... if not, Smoked Back or Collar will have to do.

Cucumber. In kappa maki, a sushi roll with cucumber filling. Other components are vinegared sushi rice, nori, and wasabi..

Re: "Food Pairings Dominoes"
Ah wasabi.....The Lushly came back with a barrow load after a trip to Singapore after he just mentioned at lunch with his clients how good the wasabi was - still loads left in a container out in the garage, so I have tried to be inventive with it.......!
Surprisingly, A dab in mashed potato is good & in wraps etc. with mayo, soy & Umeboshi it makes a good dressing.
Any more suggestions welcome!

Re: "Food Pairings Dominoes"
gosh, it's quite a few decades since i last had umeboshi plums - and then i had them as a 'stand alone'. i imagine their sweet saltiness would go, thinly sliced, on a cheese board, like membrillo, with a good flavoured cheese like a gouda.
