Goodwill and Custard!!!!!!
HELLO!!!! It's me, Soggy Bottom! Condiments of the seasoning!
It's the first day of December, so that means it's time to open our BRAND NEW Random Factoid Advent Calendar!!!
So ..............
WHAT'S BEHIND THE DOOR TODAY????
*opens door*
Did You Know that bees who return to the hive drunk are not allowed in?
wonder if they get told to 'buzz off'!
'Till next time!!!

Spring ventures forth to plant the grain
And Summer dries the straw.
Autumn gathers in the harvest
And Winter shuts the door.

Goodwill And Custard!!!!!!
It's Day 3!!!!!
Now, before we open today's door - a little message.
We may not have access to the Advent Calendar over the weekend, so we are going to do something naughty and open THREE doors today!
So - for today: WHAT'S BEHIND THE DOOR TODAY??????
*Opens door*
Did You Know that snail mucus is used in skin creams? Snail mucus?
Now let's open Day 4
Did you Know that 'yaffle' is an old country term for the Green Woodpecker?
Now we know how Professor Yaffle got his name!
Now for Day 5
Did You Know that 'Dumbledore' is an old term for a Bumblebee? JK Rowling decided on the old professor's name as she imagined him humming to himself.
And that's it for now
'Till next time!

I’ll give you a related one free, as I only found out recently from a friend who has worked in pharmaceutical materials
You know that really posh face creams contain “marine collagen”?
Apparently it is mostly extracted from the shell mountains left when preparing farmed prawns
I like the idea of Prof Dumbledore as a bumble bee

Good to see you back, Grassy, with your G & C pearls
Re: Goodwill and Custard !!!
Knew about yaffles and dumbledores. Indeed, my Dorset-born great grandmother always called bumble bees dumbledores.
