Yes, many thanks from me too.
I did have prawns yesterday, a rice stir fry, as suggested.
Although effectively "twice cooked", they weren't at all chewy.
In answer to my not using them cold/defrosted, they are a bit strong. I'd rather start with raw prawns for salad and cold dishes.
zero, have you got the salsa negra recipe to hand please (the saveur link isn't working on the mayo recipe).
And thank you for the JO prawn toast link, Sue. I'd need to make it less bready I think for me.
But there's enough info there for me to make them.
Tony's requested prawn poori at some point - fine by me.
There are a variety of prawn dishes to choose from to top a poori.
