Maybe our Queen hoped the machine would clamp any waffle before meeting Oprah. Too late for that now as that meeting has already taken place. Let's hope the waffle maker allows easy and quick cleaning away of any undesired content.

PS: Brinky, how's yours for cleaning any overflow mixture off? It's something that came up in a lot of reviews as a minus point on ones where you couldn't easily get at it.

There are two channels on either side to catch any overflow (not that there is much with my recipe; it is almost perfect for the waffle maker and only a smidge escapes. Certainly not a problem).
