A bit of bad news

Postby mark111757 » Mon Dec 14, 2020 10:07 pm

Hey gang

Yeah have not been on in awhile. Was under room arrest at the facility. The building was regularly tested for Covid including yours truly. Well last Wed afternoon I got the word that my results came back positive. Not sure that was a false positive or not. Been tested since.

Thankfully.no.fever but.no sense.of smell.and taste. A bit tired. I got moved from my room to the isolation floor.. Have not done much. Hope to get in the wheelchair Tues.

So this has put me way behind on the tv stuff and I am annoyed.by that.i will keep.you posted as things change

Oh Mark, so sorry to hear that. If you’ve lost smell and taste mp, my experience suggests you probably have it :(
Think my sense of smell is sorting itself out slowly

Take care, get better soon

So sorry to hear this. Hope it proves to be a mild case without long lasting effects and you'll be able to get back to your normal surroundings soon.

We'll all be thinking of you (I've been laid up with a bug and watched too many cookery programmes. Not sure if it's better to see too many or none!!). :newhuggy

Hi mark111757. Please do keep posting if you can as you know we'll all be thinking of you.

You haven't mentioned breathing difficulties which is a good sign and no doubt they're keeping an eagle eye on you. The virus seems to affect some yet skates lightly over others, so fingers crossed you're one over whom it skates.

Best regards.
