Ditto.
The last nine posts mostly list things I really love. Chacun à son goût.
I don't think I have any blanket food hatreds - even sweet wine - a good Sauternes is a thing sublime.
Lotta dislike goin on.
I don't get the lavender thing in food.
And I think that Robis should be sent to room 101 as he's well past his bin date.
I once sent a message to Mark Zuckerberg - because he's everyone's Facebook friend - asking for Facebook dislike buttons. He never replied.

Years ago I messaged him asking him to remove a group that some students had set up about one of the academics I worked with. I’d reported the group and never got a response.
He did reply to me and removed the group. Doubt that would happen now!

Please may I have all the unwanted offal ?
I'm happy to exchange it for my share of desiccated coconut, along with mint and chocolate ice cream which I loathe, and oysters which loathe me.

You're welcome to mine, Suffs although you may have to fight with OH for the calves liver
Happy to trade the destroyed coconut but I'm afraid oysters don't like me either

as a vegetarian i won't state the obvious, otherwise:
goats cheese (why are vegetarians universally expected to like it?)
horlicks tablets
fisherman's friends

I sometimes make honey & lavender ice cream with lavender shortbread on the side. Divine!

Scully, I'll very happily take your share of Fisherman's Friends
I'll also have any goats' cheese you care to lob in my direction
Re: Food Room 101
Not if I get to the goats cheese first Suffs! (I can see we're going to have a few food-related scuffles before this thread is done.... )

We'll share it
Re: Food Room 101
I'll happily take all your broad beans, parsnips, coconut (as long as it's sweet) and mint chocolate....
There are obviously an awful lot of foods that i won't or can't eat for various reasons, so I won't mention any of those...
1. savoury coconut dishes
2. this habbit of making vegetables look like meat and serving them to veggies/vegans as a lovely substitute. blurgh.
3. (OK I lied about the food I can't eat bit)... being gluten-free and vegan, the fact that most GFV recipes seem to have nuts in them - and I'm allergic to nuts too. so annoying!
4. kale chips - I tried. they tasted like burnt farts!

Entirely with you on the kale chips Hope!
Also not keen on kale or chard in salad, some veg should be cooked for me
But while I love coconut in savoury foods, I can’t stand it sweetened - no need for a bush tucker challenge, just give me one of those Bounty ice cream bars

raw kale definitely not a good idea for me either....
I used to love bounties. I ate so many when I was pregnant with eldest. dark chocolate ones only. Can't eat them now with all that sugar. mmmm!

Any 'healthy' snack made with strange grains and/or vegetables, that are puffed up to the texture of polystyrene packing chips.
I'm not against strange grains and vegetables in healthy snacks per se - I've had some interesting versions, including some from Aldi made with quinoa (another hate, usually!) - it's just the ones with the puffed up texture and usually, very little flavour.
