Canadian tartlets
Years ago, at the back of the BBC Good Food magazine, a reader contributor had a recipe from her native Canada for these. That wasn’t their name of course, but all I can remember is that they vaguely resembled mince pies and they were delicious. I of course have lost the recipe. Please can anybody help? Thank you.
Re: Canadian tartlets
There is also a recipe for butter tartlets in the BeRo book. That one doesn’t contain cream or nuts as far as I remember. I love them, my mum always makes them when I visit.

Something I’d never heard of before but they sound delicious . Spotted my first mince pies in Tesco’s the other day

Re: Canadian tartlets
I do have my Canadian mother-in-law's recipe and that also omits the nuts and cream.
