Red Dorsetshire cheese - buy it?

Postby jeral » Sat Aug 22, 2020 3:35 pm

Hi folks. Anyone know if Red Dorsetshire cheese is "in a shop near me" please, or online?

It's an enquiry for a friend who 's missing it now that a local vendor is shutting for refurbishment. It's great news that a shop is refurbishing and not closing down, yay.

Any ideas on sourcing much appreciated.
Ta.

If you google it, there seems to be a number of places that stock it. Probably better because most on the board probably have no idea where you/your friend are located.

Thanks, a shop near me was the telly quote usually meaning supermarket, but you're both right, I should just Google it...

I could, karadekoolaid, but I don't think Dorset folk are thanking invaders currently - that insoluble dilemma of wanting tourism cash, just not troublesome tourists. It's on my bucket list to be able to afford a train journey anywhere so I've not given up altogether.

The Net has proved informative, although I really miss not having MySupermarket. Searching supermarkets individually for things they don't recognise is hysterical, often bringing up disparate scatter gun items like hair care or pet foods. For Red Dorset Cheese, Waitrose brings up their Pink Lady Apples. All good fun eh.
