Re: What Would YOU Expect From A £10 Breakfast?
Well to be fair to the Daily Mail, it wasn´t their survey; it was done by Tabasco, makers of the world´s most revolting hot sauce. And no-one in this house has ever eaten a "dippy egg". Avocado? I tried "smashed" avocado with poached eggs when I was last in London. Delish - but then I could eat an avocado any way it comes. My only thought was that it´s not the best combination for poached eggs, but still.
This morning I had left-over naans and chickpea curry for breakfast. Bet that didn´t cost a tenner!

It might have done if you'd eaten it elsewhere - overheads!

Never eaten a dippy egg with toastie soldiers?! That’s such a shame
The Cloud Egg looks like something I cooked occasionally around the age of 11/12 ... I think it was in a Sunday School prize book entitled Pastimes for Girls ... it included cooking ... of course ...
