Yours look better Amy, did you use "proper" chocolate or melted chocolate orange for the chocolate coating? The ones on the website look slightly anaemic.
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Cake
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Bundt Cake
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Loaf Cake
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Cheesecake
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Cookies
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Shortbread Cookies
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Cookie Bars
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Cupcakes
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Pannacottas
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Mousse
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Trifle
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Milkshake
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Ice Cream
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Truffles
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Fudge
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Brownies
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Millionaires Shortbread
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Rocky Road
Terry’s Chocolate No-Bake Orange Tart
Terry’s Chocolate Orange No-Bake Cheesecake
I used Tesco’s orange chocolate bars melted , then the orange swirl was whites chocolate mixed with Tesco’s orange food colouring gel . It went a little Cakey so added a little milk and stirred it together well

I just baked another batch of the banana flapjacks I made a few weeks ago.
As per EM's suggestions I added some extra cinnamon, but didn't have any chopped nuts, instead substituted some of the oats with dessicated coconut.

As the internet was broken here this morning I baked a Blitzkuchen, a flaked almond-topped tray bake that is very quickly made, hence the name.

I made a cherry pie last night with defrosted frozen cherries. I thnk they taste a little odd. Hoping that's just how they taste rather than them having gone off.
I guess the diet doesn't start today. I should probably have just juiced them or made them into a sauce and frozen it...

I don’t know if this technically counts as baking , as well , no baking involved , but still really pleased . One of the prettiest things I’ve made to date

Re: What are you baking this week?
It´s all my neighbour´s fault.
Late Tuesday night he sent me a text message:
"IF, and only IF you feel like making something SWEET, then count me in. I think I need a sugar injection"
So yesterday I scoured the fridge (which isn´t hard, because it´s tiny) and found enough cream cheese and yoghurt to make Sunflower´s cheesecake.
Sunflower, incidentally, is my new superhero, because this cheesecake is absolutely, totally and utterly divine.

I finally got around to making the Dan Lepard Stonefruit Yogurt Cake with the slight flabby apricots. When I turned it out, the cake slipped and missed the plate a bit, and a edge broke away But It looks almost presentable and I hope it tastes better with the apricots baked rather than fresh! it smells good. Just waiting for it to cool a bit.

Nice one, squirrel.
How did it taste?
How did it taste?
Re: What are you baking this week?
It’s very nice! Maybe a bit over lemony. The recipe calls for the zest of three lemons, but I only had one, so I added some of the juice. The apricots smell fine when baked, but the taste is not strong. So, really crap apricots - and there are still some left!
The slightly dark patches in the fruit are caused by the jam I added. There was a nearly empty jar of jam from a friend that was quite acid in taste, and not pleasant on its own. There were a couple of spoonfuls languishing in the jar, so I used them up.

Re: What are you baking this week?
It looks delicious. Dare I say it might be nice as a pudding with custard too?

As some of you know I've been exploring the world of sourdough this year ... I discovered the Clever Carrot Blog and liked the way she explained the proportions and processes of making sourdough in real recipes rather than making it sound like chemical engineering experiments, so I got the book ...
