Interesting. Can post here but not on gardening thread to thank people for tomato advice and generous offers on the thread and via pm. Still on iPad.

Hi Luca- I just lost a post in preview (which I decided to rewrite :)) on the pickle thread - so not just you.

I also get intermittent internal server error messages but am assuming it's part of what Sakkarin mentioned.

How did you get on, Luca, anyone else have unsurmountable problems with ipad??

Last time I tried, it seems to be freezing at 14 and 59 past the hour, for around a minute, the 33 seemed to have cleared.

Just had a slightly different error at 13.14. I was trying to post a reply to a thread and got the usual "Internal Server Error" message but then when I refreshed the page (as I've always done before and which has taken me back to the appropriate place), I got the following additional error :
503 Service Unavailable
No server is available to handle this request.

I then refreshed again and my reply had posted successfully.

I only get the error message on the iPad - same sort of times. It seems to be fine on the PC.

Well I just managed to post on the Chatterbox thread so clearly it’s a question of timing. I shall now go and try to post my very late response on the gardening thread. Watch that space and if it doesn’t appear send out a search party! 8-)

I can see from the timing of your post Luca that it was 2 minutes before the 2.14 freeze, so if you had tried to post on the gardening thread (or any other thread) it would have frozen. Looks like sods' law is that you seem to post at 14 or 59 past the hour :=(

Hi Sakkarin,

Just FYI. I’ve tried to post on gardening thread at different times throughout the day and the same message occurs throughout the day regardless of the time. It’ll be interesting to see if this goes through as I tried just now on gardening and iPad said no! Ah well.... Maybe I’ll have a go from my computer and see if that changes anything.

Luca, your remarks reminded me that yesterday I couldn't post (and it wasn't the usual times) and noticed a small green panel at the top of the page which said my IP address was dodgy. I know this happened to people on the Wildfood board sometimes. As I was at home and using the same set up and equipment as usual it was a bit annoying!

As I tend to use my phone to look at the board quite a bit I didn't notice the panel immediately as I enlarge the page. A reboot did the trick.

Sakkarin.

Have you done something quite recently,
I haven't had a glitch since yesterday morning?

My view was always that it was something the host's end. Maybe more people had issues and they ended up dealing with it. Has it really gone?

EDIT: well the 14 seems to have cleared, will test again at 59. And coincidentally the board is working at a phenomenal pace, pages are loading virtually immediately.
