That's great news on the sensors, Sue.
I have to recharge mine every 10 days about. They are in the kitchen and come on every time someone is in there.
It's not trouble to do so.
Do yours say on the front of the light not to remove the label, mine do, so I left them without knowing why.

Regarding the mandolin, I use a wide peeler. It will make slivers of potatoes, or cheese for example.
It's not ideal, but I don't need to do that sort of prep often.

I have a heart shaped Egg mold for fried Eggs, I got it in a box of bits years ago, I never knew what it was untill I posted it on the old message board & you clever lot told me what it was.
I use it every time we have a fried Egg, just the one for Ann, I have a normal one. It looks quite impressive on the plate.
