Easy Ways to Live Well
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Steph McGovern join forces as they seek simple solutions to the threats posed to our health by our modern lifestyles.
Wednesday nite at 800pm UK time/300pm east coast USA time on BBC 1.
It is a three part series
On a personal note, I enjoyed HFW and the river cottage series. Fingers crossed this will be decent.

Thanks Mark. I'll give it a try, because I've always watched Hugh's programmes.

I must say I ignored this as the title is a bit meh, but as it's Hugh and Steph I'll maybe give it a go

Very bland. Lots of cold swimming and showers for Hugh’s anxiety and lots of proper fruit and veg, regular meals etc for Steph’s gut problem. Nothing we didn’t know already.

Re: Easy Ways to Live Well
I'm pleased it's only 3 episodes, as I don't think it has legs for much more.
Hugh is always a bit faddy, so his evangelical "I'm going to cold water swim for the rest of my life" I don't quite believe. He went veggie for 4 months, and "could do it for the rest of his life".
Bit preachy. And as a result I'm not feeling very informed.

I just think we’re all pretty well informed nowadays about healthy living . Exercise , eat a well balanced diet , cook from scratch as much as you can , that’s what it boils down to . I think that’s why these programmes get so repetitive, they’re just trying to put a spin on something we all know .
Hughs a bit like Nigel Slater for me. I much prefer his books (his two veg ones are good) than having to see him on telly
