Re: Comfort food
The first time I had Graham crackers was while we were camping with American friends ... they were served to me as the outside layers of a sandwich consisting of a piece of Hershey’s chocolate and some toasted marshmallows ... whilst I love toasted marshmallows I just didn’t see the point of combining them with the other ingredients ... but I was told it was a ‘traditional treat’
Re: Comfort food
We were told about these when we lived in the US (but didn't fancy eating them. I loathe American chocolate for a start). Anyway, from memory, the children called these S'mores and said they were a summer camp treat.

Ha! Posher than my poundshop silicon (?) cut to size (I've got loads of different sized circles)! Although I do have some expensive Bake-o-glide that I bought over 20 years ago when I was at college that are still in use - some of the poundshop stuff is not so durable.

Re: Comfort food
Graham crackers are the very best as the base for a cheesecake!
