This reminded me of an interview with William Hague some years ago. He said that when he was canvassing before an election he had to telephone a constituent in Hawes. He mis-dialed the number and when the phone was answered he said "is this a Hawes number?" to which the lady replied "You disgusting man - no I am not!".
