Series five no less

On the CBBC Friday's from 1725 to 1745 London time

Also on the bbc i Player

And also on the download circuit

Only things that annoys me is the a lot of the BBC site is geo-locked, so if I went to BBC.co.uk/CBBC , here in the States I would get a message that due to my location, I would not be able to watch videos or play games. All I wanted was to see the recipes from Matilda and the Ramsay bunch. Fired up the VPN and got what I needed.

I’d be very surprised if the recipes were up to much Mark. The programme is aimed at 8-12 year olds.

I loathe the way Gordon Ramsay pushes his family into the limelight like this. And David Beckham does the same. Must be the football connection.

Pepper

Thanks for the link. Different stuff than what is on the series, so far.

There were a couple that caught my eye ... Chix sliders, mini corn dogs, whole roast cauliflower and all-try rugby spag....

Speaking of gordo, I look for his recipe from the f word days, rosewater cream and pistachio biscuits. It might have been on the CH. 4 website before the food part was gutted. Maybe in one of the books that was put out around that time. Have had no luck finding those books or any mention of them. Hmmmmmm....

I disagree completely, and I´m pretty sure that his family is in the limelight partly because the TV Networks demand it. Ramsay is a first-class, Michelin starred Chef - not a footballer. And Beckham was one of the best footballers in the history of English football.
When you are highly successful, it´s often because you are driven to achieve success ( which brings in money), and more success ( which brings in even more money).
If I were clever enough ) or good enough at something) and were making loads of money, I wouldn´t want to suddenly give up, just because I were famous. I´d want to carry on.

Karakoolaide,

I agree with you and besides it is
commonplace in the Mediterranean
especially, to enter into the family
business !! :clap :clap

Why work for someone else when your
parents have a business ? :thumbsup :thumbsup

It is also commonplace, that footballers as
well as famous Michelin Starred Chefs,
or actors & actresses, vocalists, designers,
business CEOs and architects or even Presidents,
are in the spotlight,
so, this is part of the " financial success story" ..
The more public eye, the more success ..

Have a lovely weekend. :thumbsup

Sorry but I’m old fashioned enough to disagree with both of you. Children should not, in my opinion, be given a shove into a media career just because their parents are famous. The eldest Beckham child is all over the tabloids being hailed as a “celebrity photographer”. His pictures are awful. He gets attention purely by being a Beckham. Matilda Ramsay may or may not be able to cook. She is still however a child and should not be used to promote her father’s flagging restaurant empire. And in this country that’s exactly what it is.
